Paid Holidays
"Company" Defined
Throughout this section, unless otherwise stated, reference to "Company" or "PG&E" means Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
You are eligible to receive holiday pay after completing six months of employment and attaining regular status. In general, once you are eligible, you must be on a "paid" status to be eligible for holiday pay (for example, actively working or on sick leave, vacation, or time off, with permission, with pay before and/or after the holiday).
The Company recognizes ten public holidays and three floating holidays a year with pay. The ten recognized public holidays are:

Regular-status part-time and intermittent employees who are regularly scheduled to work on a Company holiday are eligible to receive pay for the number of hours they are scheduled to work on that day (unless the employee is off work without permission). The three floating holidays are to be used on days on which employees are scheduled to work.
